Hello, world — why this blog exists
Every blog needs a first post, so here it is. I've decided to start writing things down in public — mostly about code, tools, and the small projects I tinker with.
The reasons are the usual ones:
- Writing forces clarity. If I can't explain something in a post, I probably don't understand it yet.
- Public notes are future reference. My future self will Google a problem and land on my own post. It's happened before with other people's blogs; time to return the favor.
- It's cheap. This whole site is a folder of HTML files on GitHub Pages. Hosting costs exactly nothing.
No posting schedule, no analytics, no newsletter. Just a place to put thoughts where I can link to them.
